The IORA Fisheries Support Unit, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries Wealth & Water Resources of the Sultanate of Oman, in collaboration with IORA Secretariat hosted the Regional Workshop on Aquatic Animal Health in IORA region, in Muscat, Oman, on 22-26 October 2023. Participants from 19 Member States and 1 Dialogue Partner attended the Workshop, which resulted in  set of recommendation to address aquatic animal diseases in the region. The Workshop is an important step to renew the partnership of IORA Member States and Dialogue Partners to advance fisheries sector in the region.
