Indian Ocean Dialogue (IOD)
The Indian Ocean Dialogue (IOD), an initiative established as a stand-alone Track 1.5 level bringing together scholars, experts and policy makers on several crucial issues relating to the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) for enhancing regional cooperation and sustainable development in the Indian Ocean Region.
The first IOD was held in September 2014 and since then it has been institutionalised, and IORA Member States have continued hosting the IOD.
